Speyer

From our location in the cathedral city of Speyer, we manage our Römerberg-Speyer field. We have been producing crude oil there since 2008 together with our consortium partner Palatina GeoCon. We are also working on exploration projects to investigate the further potential of the Upper Rhine Graben.

Meppen / Rühlermoor

At our site in Steinitz, we have been producing natural gas from the second-largest natural gas deposit on the European mainland since 1969. In addition to existing production, we also manage our lithium project here on site.

In the district of Grafschaft Bentheim, we are contributing to local security of supply. In 2025, we will drill two new natural gas wells locally: Adorf Z19 and Adorf Z20 at a drilling site in the municipality of Georgsdorf.

The consortium of Neptune Energy and Palatina GeoCon & Co. KG suspect an oil deposit near Otterstadt. To follow up on these indications, the consortium is planning to drill an appraisal well on a plot of land in the Otterstadt district on the L 534 towards Waldsee.

We are implementing major decommissioning campaigns in the districts of Emsland and Grafschaft Bentheim. On site, we are plugging numerous disused oil and natural gas wells and will later completely abandon the operating sites.
