Local involvement
Good neighbourliness is our mission everywhere
In our work, it's not just what we do that counts, but how we do it. Transparent communication and detailed information for all those involved are key to our success. We are a partner striving for an open dialogue at all times, always ready for people's needs in all areas where we are active. We engage with the public and many stakeholders in a variety of ways, whether it's information events for citizens, press events, tours for local politicians or discussions with local residents. It is particularly important to us to respond to all concerns and questions.
We support local commitment
We are also involved as a sponsor in many areas. This applies in particular to nature conservation and local heritage projects or supporting children, young people and voluntary fire brigades in the vicinity of our central field stations.
However, our aim is not only to be a good neighbour in the local area around our production sites, but also to consider overarching social issues in our dialogue. This includes topics such as securing the energy supply, sourcing critical raw materials, and reducing CO₂ emissions.
Our Code of Conduct and our Stakeholder Engagement Policy set the framework and rules for our work.
We regularly report on local projects and campaigns as part of our media work. Find out more here:
