Neptune Energy has been producing domestic raw materials in Speyer since 2008 - safely and in accordance with the highest environmental standards.

In the district of Grafschaft Bentheim, we are contributing to local security of supply. In 2025, we will drill two new natural gas wells locally: Adorf Z19 and Adorf Z20 at a drilling site in the municipality of Georgsdorf.

The consortium of Neptune Energy and Palatina GeoCon & Co. KG suspect an oil deposit near Otterstadt. To follow up on these indications, the consortium is planning to drill an appraisal well on a plot of land in the Otterstadt district on the L 534 towards Waldsee.

Neptune Energy has been producing oil in the Hamburg Bergedorf area since the 1930s. Now the production sites are being dismantled - the journey back to nature begins.

We are currently building new shallow-water biotopes in the municipality of Großheide, in the district of Aurich. To this end, our experts and specialist contractors are excavating two basins at the disused Victorbur drilling mud pit.

Neptune Energy is plugging and abandoning its natural gas wells at Fahner Höhe, Kirchheiligen, Krahnberg and Mühlhausen in Thuringia.

We are implementing major decommissioning campaigns in the districts of Emsland and Grafschaft Bentheim. On site, we are plugging numerous disused oil and natural gas wells and will later completely abandon the operating sites.

Neptune Energy is currently plugging and abandoning 28 oil wells and 11 gas wells in the Emsland and Grafschaft Bentheim region, as well as roughly the same number of central field stations.

Neptune Energy is remediating the Brüchau site to the highest environmental standards - for the long-term protection of people, soil, water and air.
In April 2024, the responsible State Office for Geology and Mining Saxony-Anhalt granted Neptune Energy approval to extract lithium in the Altmark region.
